James Sommerville (Live weblink)
James Sommerville’s reputation as one of Huddersfield’s greatest exports is well documented. Setting up a design agency in his grandma’s attic straight after leaving the Batley School of Art in 1986, Attik design grew to become one of the world’s most respected agencies. He is now Global VP of design at the biggest brand in the world, Coca Cola. James will be speaking to us live from his Atlanta base.
Craig Oldham is a Designer, Educator, Writer, Procrastinator, Artist, Publisher, Film-maker, Philanthropist, Intervenor, Letter-writer, Theorist, Website-Up-Putter, Lamenter, Conspiracist, and Yorkshireman. By day, and when the moon is full, he can be found at The Office of Craig Oldham (craigoldham.co.uk.)
He’s worked with a lot of people you will have heard of and a lot of people you probably haven’t. He’s won some awards, written some articles, been in—and written—books, had work on TV shows and in newspapers, been in—and held—exhibitions. He sits on committees, global awards juries, educational panels (as well as seats, sofas and chairs).
He drinks way too much tea and, apparently, swears too much.
